Key Responsibilities
1.Product analysis including design, material, process & cost etc..
2.Select project for cost reduction, and prepare 2D/3D drawing for the design change.
3.Communicate with suppliers to confirm component specification, target cost and lead-time.
4.Work with relevant team to prepare the firstly samples, track and monitor the status for all new parts.
5.Follow up test plan & evaluate the new part according to the drawing.
6.Coordinate with PMC and purchasing to organize material for test sample build.
7.Follow up the reliability testing with QA, and analyse the failure sample and find the solution.
8.Follow up safety approval with Regulatory.
9.Initiate documentations preparation, such as BOM, ECR/ECN, ECO and SER.
10.Work with superior and project management to achieve performance target.

Person Specifications
1.Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical, Industrial, or other related Engineering discipline or equivalent.
2.Minimum 3 years relevant experiences in mechanical design. Solid design experience in Household appliance manufacturing field is an advantage.
3.Familiar with product development processes.
4.Experience in design of plastic & metal components.
5.Familiar with UG or Pro-E.
6.Good computer experience with Microsoft Office, email communication & 2D and 3D CAD.
7.Familiar with application for safety approval such as UL, CSA, CE, BS, SAA.
