Director, Human Resources, Campus
LOCATION: Zhuhai
REPORTS TO: Vice President, Human Resources, Asia
PURPOSE:
The Director, Human Resources, campus will be responsible for developing and deploying HR initiatives in the campus with over 40,000 employees, in order to support the growth, profitability and compliance of business.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The Director, Human Resources, Campus will:
• Ensure the effective deployment of corporate HR strategies, processes, policies, systems and metrics that contribute to the success of the business.
• Work with market segment HR business partners to effectively develop and deploy segment HR strategies (such as talent acquisition, retention and development, performance management, workforce planning, reward and recognition and organizational growth).
• Work with market segment HR business partners to develop the regional leadership team to ensure that talent is in place to ensure sustainable development of the company’s mission, vision, values, strategy and goals.
• Plan, budget and manage HR costs for the business unit in line with Corporate objectives
• Work closely with senior management to provide critical HR strategy/counsel in support of key business initiatives.
• Act as a resource on employee relations’ matters.
• Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 8 to 10 years of solid Human Resources experience.
• Experienced in managing a large manufacturing plant or multi-plants with lean resources.
• Proficient in both English and Chinese.
• Be able to build good working relations with the local government and labor bureau.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Willing to be hands-on.
