Responsibilities:
1.Define technology programs that will differentiate Flextronics as a leader in providing innovative metal solutions
2.Apply industry expertise that can be leveraged across product applications involving material selection and process
3.Design and implement processes for stamping, forging, welding, brazing, heat treating, surface treatment, and other metal fabrication operations for consumer electronics products
4.Serve as a focal point for metal technologies in new product development, customer support, and equipment and material vendor selections.
5.Conduct metallurgical analysis, sample preparation, and mechanical testing.
Requirements:
1.BS degree or above in metallurgical, materials, or mechanical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline, PHD is preferred.
2.8+ years of industrial experience with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
3. Hand-on experience in precision metal forming, joining, heat treatment and surface treatment.
4.Knowledge of forming light metals and stainless steels for consumer electronics products.
5.Excellent presentation skills and the ability to interact with customers and experts across functional disciplines.
6.Strong project management skills.
7.Strong English language skills both verbal and written.
8.Chinese language skills a big plus
