Responsibilities:
1.Assist the Project Quality Manager to identify and clarify product specification with the customer and translate them into quality specifications and acceptance criterias that are software related.
2.Work with the software development team to further detail those specifications and generate a test plan that can validate the product at the black and white box level.
3.Create new test programs to stress the product to find weakness in the software design.
4.Work along side the Senior Test Engineer to create the test cases and schedule.
5.Help train test technicians to accurately execute the defined tests.
6.Oversee the execution of the test plan and generate a comprehensive test reports detailing the nonconformance and cause of the bug.
7.Help analyze software architecture and performance based on the test results.
8.Suggest solution to rectify the issue and help pinpoint some improvement in the software programming.
9.Drive related function to complete the re-design on a timely basis and determine the feasibility of the suggested fix.
Requirements:
1.BS or MS degree in Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
2.Have five or more years of hands on experience in platform software programming.
3.Familiar with software integration processes and experienced in identifying potential problems in those processes.
4.Proven record of success in identifying bugs that are cause by software routines.
5.Able to write clear and concise technical reports.
6.Have used disciplined methodology to identify bugs and use DFSS tools to generate data to back up analysis.
7.Good verbal and written communication skills.
8.Self motivated and result oriented.
9.Speak and write English at CET6 level and above.
