Responsibilities:
1.Be responsible for the development of corporate and strategic plans for the Cost Engineering Teams and the deployment of the cost engineering process through subordinate managers the implementation of strategic objectives
2.Have some responsibility for making final decisions on administrative cost target adherence and ensure effective achievement of Cost Engineering and Cost Reduction objectives
3.Oversee the development and maintenance of cost engineering models and act as escalation to the executive in the event of major costing issues.
4.Liaise with Finance and senior management to ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements
5.Liaise with Financial Quatation analysts to insure that the latest hourly rates are synchronized.
6.Negotiate on behalf of the executives with regard to target pricing to achieve cost reductions where possible
7.Work closely with management to develop team resources to add value to the cost engineering and supply chain management funcation with regard to performance management and talent acquisition
8.Provide Value Engineering proposals and sourcing support as required for Preferred Supplier list development and maintenance.
9.Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce
Requirements:
1.Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
2.At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3.Applicants must be willing to work in Hong Kong or Shenzhen
4.Preferably Managers specializing in or equivalent.
