Reporting to Sensor New Product Development Manager, you as Sr. Design Engineer will create electro-mechanical sensor product designs utilizing 3D CAD software as well as project following up/management.
About the job:
Product design and development utilizing reed switches, Hall effects and other electrical and mechanical components.
Lead each program for Engineering from initial RFQ / design concept through the product development life cycle. This includes creation of all drawings, bill of materials and other documents per Littelfuse procedure.
Direct interface with the customer and suppliers.
Manage validation testing for each product designed during the DV phase and support quality during the PV phase.
Utilize tools such as DFMEA's, DFM and APQP to enhance the product development process.
Lead cross functional team to go through new product development procedure.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 5 years of product development and 3D CAD modeling experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects with a cross functional team in multiple locations including facilities in North America and China. 跨国公司工作经历
Experience in plastic injection and insert molded part design, stampings, printed circuit board design and assembly (SMT) and encapsulation technologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
SAP and magnetics background a plus
