I. JOB SUMMARY
Project management for export moulds & local production moulds projects.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
？ Collect quotations from supplier for new inquiry from clients, the quotation confirmation by purchasing department.
？ Prepare internal documents, such as mould spec, open-calculation for molding parts, part design review report to clients.
？ After PO, discussing with clients about mould concept & part design modifying requirement.
？ Check mould layout drawings from selected suppliers and sending mould layout drawing to clients for approval.
？ Co-work with selected suppliers for mould building plan and forward to clients.
？ Update weekly report for on-going mould status.
？ Perform on-site mould testing, optimize molding setting up & sample inspection.
？ Arrange delivery samples to clients and discussing with mould optimization solutions.
？ Carry out final inspection moulds according to client’s mould spec. and send inspection report to client.
？ Define part inspection specification and issue to QC department.
？ Support AAF & NL & toolmaker for mould design & Manufacture &testing & inspection and material problems
？ Skype meeting with NL once a week.
？ Report to his management (follow-up, performance and efficiency of his activity) and propose action plans.
III. EDUCATION/SKILL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
？ Degree in mechanical engineering/plastic engineering/mould designing.
？ With above 4 years solid experience in mould design, mould making or molding.
？ With above 3 years solid experience in project management.
？ Deep understanding on mould structure design & mould building process.
？ Deep understanding on plastic material properties & molding process.
？ Strong on-site trouble shooting skills for mould & molding.
？ Strong material knowledge of plastics and metals
？ Experience with tight tolerance tooling and resolving out of spec issues
？ Knowledge on secondary processes on plastics parts, such as, plating, spray painting, printing, etc.
？ Ability to listen, speak, read and write English, especial technical English.
？ Work independently but strong teamwork spirit.
？ Good communication skill and flexibility.
？ Open-minded and able to learn quickly.
？ Highly motivated and capability to work under pressure
