JOD RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and deliver retail account presentations/reports including but not limited to new items, industry trends, market share, product assortments, packaging, and marketing & promotional materials.
2. Monitor/Report against the competitive environment as it relates to products, promotions, pricing and merchandising .
3. Gather, report/summarize requested info for Special Projects by required deadline as requested.
4. Gather, summarize, and present shopper and consumer insight information to internal stakeholders.
5. Develop, create, & implement training materials to enhance field team production.
6. Investigate & manage reported field concerns, escalating as necessary.
7. Troubleshoot data retrieval surveys and escalate issues as required.
8. Proper planning, execution and reporting for developed and assigned projects. Meets assigned deadlines.
9. Meets communication guidelines, both oral and written including but not limited to appropriate response time to email and voicemail.
10. Applies productive communication and involvement during conference calls (both leading and participating), projects, and corporate events.
11. Anticipates and communicates potential in-field issues or opportunities. Offers advice and solutions to issues.
12. Continuously educates self on competitive toys/children's products, environment, including key manufactures, products and retail trends.
13. Continues to develop a stronger understanding of Retailer Standards and Operational practices and communicates how they can benefit the department/company.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. University degree or above.
2. 3-5 years' relevant work experience in Toys of Trading/ Buying Office or FMCG industry.
3. Strong analytical skills, Ability to assemble, seek, organize and interpret data to deliver insights/reporting and recommendations.
4. Ability to recognize existing or potential problems, provide viable solutions and drive to solve problems quickly and concisely.
5. Ability to work effectively with management, as part of a team, as well as independently, with commitment and dedication to get the job done; takes ownership of assigned tasks.
6. Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
7. Detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced, ever changing, work environment.
8. Able to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
9. Strong interpersonal skills.
10. Confident, professional personality with the ability to build relationships quickly.
11. Working & applied knowledge of effective merchandising practices and tactics.
12. Working and applied knowledge of retail environments.
13. Takes initiative to seek information to benefit the organization.
14. Must be proactive and take initiative to learn more about merchandising trends and business practices.
15. Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
16. 4+ years experience required, with experience in retail operations in China, shopper insights, sales, merchandising, and/or service organizations preferred.
17. 70% travels required.
