1.0 General
Reports to Asia Packaging Team and responsible for packaging material and structure related works.
2.0 Specific Responsibilities
• Resolve packaging structure issues to achieve optimal cost benefit through collaboration among product development teams, manufacturing vendors and packaging suppliers
• Manage update and publish packaging specifications
• Approve packaging structure during FEP / PPSR sign off
• Ensure adherence of packaging development lead-time to product development cycle
• Develop purpose driven packaging structure solutions to product development teams located in North America and Asia
• Support research and deployment of new packaging materials and processes
3.0 Required Skill Set
• Proficient in using CAD software to create packaging die line
• Knowledge in packaging materials such as pulp, paper and plastics
• Familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Fair command of English and communication skill
4.0 Required Qualifications & Experience
• College graduate in packaging structural design or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in packaging structure design field
• Self-motivated and with good sense of responsibility
