1、Applicable degree in Engineering.
2、Completion of accredited Engineering Apprenticeship or Engineering Graduate training programme.
3、20+ years’ experience in an engineering product development role (working for a major household appliance manufacturer).
4、Experience working in an international organisation
5、Competent in use of proprietary 2D and 3D design software
6、Fluent in written and spoken English
7、Knowledge of use of other applicable software tools such as finite element analysis, fluid flow analysis, embedded hardware & software, etc.
8、Competent in use of applicable design technology such as rapid prototyping equipment, specialised test equipment, etc.
9、10+ years people management experience.
Principle Accountabilities:
1、Development and implementation of Engineering Design and Development strategy in conjunction with Technical Operations Director (Asia) and R&D Manager (Food Preparation).
2、Development of the R&D Coffee and Home Teams to raise their skills and capabilities, capacity, and professional approach to product development and improvements; so they are recognised as a Centre of Competence for specified product categories within DeLonghi Group.
3、In collaboration with R&D Manager (Food Preparation) the development and implementation of best engineering practices, systems, methodologies, and improvement initiatives across the whole R&D Department.
4、R&D Department budget administration and control.
5、Support brand HQs in the industrialisation of Coffee and Home products they develop for manufacture in DGDK and On Shiu.
