岗位职责:
BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site would ultimately be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the digital technologies and applying the high safety standards.
Main Tasks
In your role as intern for Smart Supply Chain, you are part of a team that is in charge for the development and implementation of digital supply chain solutions for the new Verbund site, BASF Integrated Site (BIG) in South China. Throughout the internship, you are involved in:
1. Development of the new Supply Chain Intelligence Platform
2. Data engineering tasks and experience of using Azure Cloud
3. Building, maintaining and improving dashboards based on Power BI

Job requirements
1. Education: Majoring in “Computer information” or interested in becoming a “Data Scientist” or “Data Engineer”
2. Technical and Professional Knowledge:
o Power BI / Tableau
o Fluent in Chinese, able to read and write in English (not mandatory)
