CGA (Camuto Group Asia) is a footwear and handbag sourcing & procurement operation, headquartered in Dongguan, China and with a branch office in Chengdu, China. CGA sources exclusively for the Camuto Group, based in Greenwich, CT, USA.
The Camuto Group was founded by Mr. Vince Camuto in 2001, and designs, sources and markets footwear and handbags for its own brands, such as Vince Camuto, Vince Camuto Signature, Louise Et Cie and Arturo Chiang, for licensed brands such as Jessica Simpson, Lucky and BCBG as well as for first cost customers such as Tory Burch, Dillard’s, Macy’s and Ann Taylor amongst others.
In 2014, CGA will ship around 23 million pairs of shoes and 500,000 units of handbags. It operates with a total of 340 employees.
CGA handles business relationships with around 40 footwear & handbag factories, located mainly in Southern China, but also in Chengdu, Wenzhou and Zhengzhou, as well as factories in Vietnam, Indonesia and Ethiopia. Also, CGA directly sources leather from around 50 tanneries located in Southern China, Brazil, Argentina, India and Ethiopia.
Sample development and production quality control are some of the main deliverables.
Company operates with 11 main divisions, being 6 footwear product divisions, plus handbags, leather department, commercial department, operations/finance, Chengdu and Express. 10 Senior Managers lead these different divisions, reporting to a Managing Director.
CGA is also in charge of overviewing Kaneda Tannery, a leather finishing plant located in Nansha/Guangzhou, with 130 employees and fully owned and operated by the Camuto Group.
