Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop inverter power systems including:
o DC-AC inverters
o AC-DC rectifiers
o DC-DC converters
o Battery charging systems
o Energy storage integration
• Develop and optimize power electronics circuits using:
o MOSFETs
o IGBTs
o SiC/GaN devices
o Gate driver circuits
• Perform system design calculations, simulations, and validation testing.
• Create and review:
o Electrical schematics
o PCB layouts
o Wiring diagrams
o Technical specifications
o Test procedures
• Work with embedded firmware engineers on:
o PWM control algorithms
o Protection logic
o Fault diagnostics
o Communication protocols
• Conduct lab testing and troubleshooting using:
o Oscilloscopes
o Power analyzers
o Electronic loads
o Thermal cameras
• Support EMI/EMC compliance and electrical safety certification activities.
• Analyze field failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to support prototype builds, production, and product improvements.
• Participate in component selection, cost optimization, and design-for-manufacturing activities.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in inverter power systems or power electronics design.
• Strong understanding of:
o Inverter topologies
o Switching power supplies
o Power conversion techniques
o High-voltage systems
• Experience with:
o MATLAB/Simulink
o LTspice/PSpice
o Altium, OrCAD, or similar PCB tools
• Knowledge of:
o PWM control
o Analog and digital circuits
o Thermal management
o EMI/EMC principles
• Hands-on debugging and laboratory testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
