Job Responsibilities:
1、Analysing data and writing of Technical Reports in English language.
2、Collaborate with R&D Teams and / or external suppliers to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and validate appropriate corrective action.
3、Definition and execution of test plans to validate PCBA hardware design and product functionality.
4、Development of electronic PCBAs for new products including schematic design, simulation, BOM generation, PCB layout and final review, support maintain and document hardware design.
5、EMC measurement, test and resolution, troubleshoot problems detected during product development.
6、Global travel to brand HQs, suppliers and other external providers as necessary.
7、Laboratory test equipment commissioning and use.
8、Preparing and presenting information, ideas and data.
9、Production and quality support (e.g. analysis of issues and implementing corrective action internally with suppliers to prevent reoccurrence).
10、Propose innovative hardware architectures for IoT product systems.
11、Prototype manufacturing using local suppliers and in house reworking.
12、Requirements analysis and design review.
13、Support feasibility for new programs, features and / or cost down opportunities.
14、Work with Purchasing, Quality and project team to control the product and project delivery on time.
15、Works closely with the R&D Teams to architect and develop the best technical solution and approach
Qualifications
Degree in Electronics Engineering.
Essential skills and experience:
1、At least 3 years of experience in electronics design for household appliances.
2、Experience in the use of design software Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
3、Experience of PCBA manufacture, production test equipment, prototyping and mass production.
4、Design for manufacture and production test experience. Strong troubleshooting and testing background with hands on experience in handling electronics.
5、Ability to accurately plan own work and meet deadlines.
6、Ability to solve electronic and hardware integration issues.
7、Appreciation of multi device architecture (Machine, handheld device, app and cloud server) etc.
8、Designing for EMC: Experience in testing and debugging to achieve EMC compliance with understanding of CE/CCC/FCC/UL standards.
9、Experience in failure analysis of electrical/electronic systems and defining corrective actions.
10、Knowledge and experience of core hardware and software functions such as serial protocol, general purpose IO, ADCs, DACs, timers, interrupts, PWM, LCD displays, I2C, SPI, memory management, FLASH.
11、Support and guide the activity of suppliers for manufacturing of PCBAs.
12、Good teamwork ability.
