Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related disciplines
- At least 10 years solid experience in manufacturing, with all round relevant knowledge including production, and quality management
- Good knowledge of ISO
- Strong leadership, good business acumen, self-motivated, high level of integrity, sophisticated interpersonal skills with all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English, Cantonese & Mandarin
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee managers on New Product Introduction, including the design release validation, Stage Gate Control, costing, product launch, etc.
- Lead the factories and recommend solutions to resolve problems on critical processes, including to Identify, recommend and implement changes necessary to improve productivity and reduce cost, scrap, and rework
- Lead and coordinate managers on development of Mechanical Design in collaboration with Design and Factories for Product Innovation, Material Selection, and Producibility
- Oversee the manufacture in plant or by qualified subcontractors in accordance with the requirements for cost, delivery and quality
- Monitor the manufacturing performance and take timely remedial actions when necessary
- Develop and maintain an engaged and competent workforce, and maintain succession plans to fulfill the long-term human resource needs of the factories
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and implement improvement initiatives for higher productivity and manufacturing excellence
- Set goals and develop strategic plans for manufacturing enhancement and upgrading so as to maintain the Company’s long-term competitiveness
- Support the Senior Management in formulating business policies and strategies
