Major Responsibilities:
1. Establish and implement work cell policies, objectives and procedures to ensure an effective production system.
2. Develop and track monitoring system relevant to the work cell. Emphasis on work cell performance, safety, quality, delivery and cost control. Ensure goals are clear to team members and continuous improvement is being achieved.
3. Monitor and improve the overall operation of related production lines to achieve the KPI’s on quality, cost, efficiency and flexibility.
4. Organize production capacity, planning and material management including people resource, machine, tooling and raw material to delight customers with defect-free product and on time delivery.
5. Work together with quality/ production/ process/ planning/ maintenance group to support and ensure product requirements are adequately defined and implemented.
6. Participate actively in new project introduction to make sure the project timeline realized properly.
7. Develop and maintain a good culture on shop floor with proper performance appraisal to build up an engaged and valuable team.
8. Manage process validation and change management to ensure design intentions are fully meet.
9. Identify EHS aspects and take corrective action to improve working environment. Ensure relevant regulations, internal standards and corporate policies are fully complied with.
10. Establish production training system and develop people competence. Organize and arrange training on team to ensure qualified backup are available and fitting to requirements and potential business.
Requirements & Qualification:
1. Bachelor degree or above in Engineering, supply chain management, or related field.
2. 5+ years in supply chain management especially production & manufacturing engineering management. Managerial position in a foreign-owned healthcare industry manufacturer is preferred.
3. Excellent knowledge in all areas related to the work cell.
4. Good command of English both in oral & written.
5. Strong cross-functional communication and influencing skills.
