Main Target Summary: Responsible for electrical design for high speed cable assembly product development/extension/maintenance.
Tasks Summary & Responsibilities:
? Responsible for high speed cable assembly product development/extension/ maintenance. Ensure that the product design is manufacturable and meet customer requirements.
? Support customer on concept design and spec discussion, recommendation, study customer specification.
? Define requirement and test/validation plan for SI performance, data analysis, report preparation.
? Design and develop paddle card for products
? Work with manufacturing team for trouble shooting during NPI stage ? EEPROM design for NPI, EEPROM trouble shooting.
? Leading resolve electrical issues down to the closure.
? Check and approve the electrical changes from supplier and manufacturing team.
? Periodically engineering review and report
? Domestic / oversea business travel if needed.
? Other tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirement:
? B.S. degree, majored in Electrical, Telecommunication, Microwave engineering or related field.
? 1-3 years working experience as an electrical engineer in cable assembly field.
? Capable to use Altium designer or other software on high speed PCB/PCBA design.
? Know about the PCB material characteristic, PCB process and SMT process.
? Familiar with SI test equipment including VNA, TDR, PPG, etc.
? Familiar with 1 or more language for programming on cable assembly. ? Familiar with I2C bus and EEPROM knowledge.
? Know about the EMI/ESD related knowledge and cause.
? Able to use SI test equipment for performance measurement.
? Familiar with industry spec such as IEEE, IBTA, SAS, SFF, VESA, etc.
? Knowledge on raw cable performance.
? Good presentation skills.
? Effective problem resolving skills.
