DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Description
Manage CME MI department
Responsibilities:
* Ensure mass production producability of all new FPC and R-FPC product.
* Ensure product cost and quality goals are met.
* Ensure the Engineering design rules are properly being implemented.
* Manage FEE team to exceed customer’s expectations with engineering support and provide solutions to customers.
* Work with Process Engineering, FAE's and customers to achieve target yield and value engineering goals. Monitor customer new technology requirements and work with PE to establish and improve process capabilities.
Requirements:
* Min 8 years experience in flex and rigid-flex PCB front end engineering including Product Engineering and CAM , at least 5 years at a management level.
* Strong problem solving techniques and capability in PCB CAM, FEE and NPI areas.
* Understand high technology flexible and rigid-flex PCB technology, processes and software.
* Ability to lead and coordinate technical discussion with customers, review and approve DFM's from front end engineers.
* Ability to understand, develop, implement, and measure engineering departmental KPI's e.g., productivity, OTD, quality , NPI success.
* Strong pro-active sense of responsibility, leadership for dealing with customers and monitoring DFM/TQ activities.
